But when she is accused of treason for her actions, her survival rests in the hands of the very man she once considered her enemy. I really liked this new short novel from Author Jennifer Moore. I especially liked the different setting that she hasn't written about before. The story takes place in Canada during the war of between a young America and their former countrymen England. The main character of Abigail Tidwell I liked from the start. She was brave, beautiful, kind, and intelligent.

I also liked how her father encouraged her to hone her skills and her intellect and not stifle them. Back then women didn't do a man's job, but Abigail breaks through all of those barriers.
